Fylde Coast Youth Theatre was founded in 2016 by Debbie, a graduate of the prestigious East 15 Acting School. Our Patron is Julie Atherton. We moved into our new rehearsal venue in February 2019.

Our tutors have years of experience within the arts, and with credits and training at some of the top performing arts schools in the country. Your child will have top training whilst having fun!
Classes works towards a performance each term. Pupils have the opportunity to contribute to creating and performing as appropriate to their age and interests.
In August the Thursday Show Team performs a musical theatre production which for the last few years has been at the Lowther Pavilion, Lytham.
The 2020 Show, Bare was postponed due to COVID-19 but will be re-scheduled for next year.
The Tuesday Show Team's production of High School Musical also had to be postponed and will be re-scheduled.
Fashion Academy received 4 NODA nominations and Sebastian won Best Entertaining Performance in a Youth Production.
Bring It On also received a number of Nominations and Ella won the Best Actress in a Musical - Youth Round.
Pupils have also competed in the Monologue Slam in Manchester and been selected for the Regional final
In addition to regular classes we also arrange special events. These have included
an overnight trip to London to see Matilda, take part in a workshop at Pineapple Studio and have a backstage tour of the National Theatre.
Masterclasses which included Zoom classes during lockdown with Luke Latchman (Everybody's Talking About Jamie), Stephanie Bissonette (Mean Girls Broadway), Dayna Dixon (Matilda the Musical West End) and Lauren Byrne (Six the Musical).

In September 2018 we held our first annual award ceremony and birthday celebration. This is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all our pupils and to have some fun.
